Whats the cheapest and best car to drive around?...*used car and why?..? I drive a '95 Chevy blazer, and I love it. I love big cars, however its a waste of too much gas and I plan* on moving to the Southwest and want a convertible, that is standard, and around $1,000-4,000, but someone said that those are not good. So, in your opinion, what brand and type is?..Please explain, I am very illiterate when it comes to cars and stuff.
What are fun cheap cars to drive? What are some fun cars to drive that are in the 4k-6k price range. Doesn't really matter how old(prefer 90's). Not looking to drag or do quarter miles. Just want a fun car that is pretty fast to drive in everyday situations.
Cheapest All-wheel Drive car? What is the cheapest all-wheel drive car on the market today? I didn't say cheapest was best! Please stay on topic.
What is the cheapest and most reliable car to buy that get gets good gas mileage? I have a Toyota Landcruiser and a Toyota pickup. My Landcruiser is a soccer mom type vehicle that gets maybe 16 MPG. The Toyota pickup is not as reliable but gets around 20. I'm looking for a commuter car to drive that is very cheap - say under $2,000 that gets good gas mileage, is reliable, and can get me to work and back.
If you test drive it could you hassle the dealer to make your car cheaper? you know how they say once you drive it off the parking lot the price of the car goes down. if you test drive a car and you drive it off the parking lot do you have the right to hassle the dealer to make it cheaper since it did go out of the parking lot? and could you also hassle the dealer to make it cheaper if it has a couple miles on the car already? silly questions but doesnt hurt to ask.
How much is petro needed to drive from London to Exeter? (a small car)? Hi. I'd like to go to the west country. I'm debating if I should take the train there (London <---> Exeter return 50 GBP) or hire a car to drive there. I'll need to hire a car there anyway. But I wonder if I should hire a car in London and drive there and back and pay the petro, or take the train there and hire the car locally. I plan to get a cheap economy car (the most fuel efficient car) Which way is cheaper? Thanks.
What are some cheap rear wheel drive cars? I want to buy a cheap junky car, but I want it to be rear-wheel drive. Any ideas about a car I could buy cheap that is RWD? Best answer goes to the person with the longest list of cars. I'd kinda like a honda or some other japanese make. But its not important.
I am 17 and from the UK, can i drive MY car through France, Belgium and Germany? I am planning going to the Rock AM Ring Festival in Germany and found out its cheaper to drive there, not only that it will be good fun with the lads. But i need to know if i have to be 18 to drive in France, Belgium and Germany with a UK license... Yes i know you have to be 21 to rent a car, i am not renting a car i am driving MY own car Cheers
What is the cheapest (relatively new) car to insure for a learner? My 17 year old son is about to embark on driving lessons and needs to know what is the cheapest car to insure. It won't be an old banger but something like a 3 year old corsa, fiesta type vehicle. Hotz - I agree with you about the Fiesta Zetec. I've got a brand new one myself and I love it and it you think I'm letting my son anywhere near it yet you've got another thing coming.
I need help finding a cheap, sporty, fun to drive car? Im going to be going to college soon and my parents are going to buy me a car. Any suggestions on a fast, fun to drive used car that's reliable and wont need much maintenance that's under 20k? Ive been looking at celicas, 300z's, and others. Thanks.
What is the cheapest car insurer for a 23yr old guy? Obviously in the UK, so please no irritating as hell "Try Patriot Insurance based in Washington"... So far, Zurich appears to be the cheapest. But i'm guessing we can go lower. Im trying to insure a 1997 Fiesta, 1.2, 3 door with immobiliser. Only doing 1000 miles or less each year. I have been out of driving now for 5 years. Can anyone recommend a cheap-as-chips car insurer? - It's ridiculous how just third party costs more than the car itself. My best qoute is around £580 - for third party ONLY. - A p*ss take. Thanks for your help. Ideally, if you have any recent experience of getting car insurance and you are the same age then let me know which you found to be the cheapest. Also, please do NOT recommend insurance comparison websites - i have tried them all and they return roughly the same results. Thank you. Quinn insurance is a flaming rip-off. You'd have to be either a fool, or have learning difficulties, to go with a bunch of robbers like that.
What kind of car is 4 door, cheap and easy to drive? I need a small car to get to work in thats under $2,000 but is a 4 door, reliable easy car to drive. I really liked the dodge neon I used to have but im looking for anything right now thats in the $1,000-$2,000 dollar range. Can anyone think of something like this?
I need a cheap reliable car to drive to Africa? It must be left hand drive, prefer diesel, 4x4 would be good though anything would be considered. I am asking because I have entered the Plymouth- Banjul challenge and am struggling to find a suitable car. http://www.plymouth-banjul.co.uk/ PLEASE DON'T SUGGEST EBAY, I have looked already! More creative ideas would be appreciated. Oh yeah, did I mention it must cost less than £100? Chuckle chuckle ahhh oh dear, I wish I had thought of taking a ferry. Guess I shall have to cancel the whole trip now. Really, you get to be a top contributor by posting inane comments like that? You must be very proud of your badge. This question is still open to anyone with any sensible suggestions. I know there is a fiat 4x4 on ebay but it is up to £550 with 4 days still to go. I am told left hand drive car prices are very high in the UK at the moment due to the number of people with second homes buying them up. I am sure they will be cheaper on the continent but getting them insured to drive back can be a problem. I am obviously prepared to spent more than £100 but want to try stay within the spirit of the event. ie: no money. . .no worries. . .no sense. . . Looks like nobody knows how to click on the plymouth-banjul link then. . .
What is the cheapest, most reliable used car to run into the ground? I am looking to buy a cheap, reliable used car that I can basically drive for 10 years with as few problems as possible, safety or maintenance-wise. I don't care about resale value since I intend to run the car into the ground. In fact, a high resale value might make the car too expensive to purchase as a used car. What would you reccomend?
