Best Cars to Insure

Can I buy a car and insure it under my parents name?

Im planning on buying a car soon and I need to know if I can buy the car and have the car under my dads name and not be a primary driver. In my house there's 3 drivers so far excluding me, and we have 2 cars. So if I buy a car will I automatically become a primary driver or can I put the car under my dads name and have lower premiums?

  1. If you live at the same address, you can have it added to your father's insurance policy as primary driver cheaper than what your own policy would cost.
  2. I work for a car dealership. You have to put the policy holders name on the title or the lean of the car/truck. If you dont and you get into an accident, the insurace company doesnt have to cover you.
  3. .i have insured all of my sons cars. yes you can been under your parents insurance and pay a lower premium in some cases because of your age , you are considered high driving risk and may have to pay a higher premium.
