Can I buy a car and insure it under my parents name?
Im planning on buying a car soon and I need to know if I can buy the car and have the car under my dads name and not be a primary driver. In my house there's 3 drivers so far excluding me, and we have 2 cars. So if I buy a car will I automatically become a primary driver or can I put the car under my dads name and have lower premiums?

- If you live at the same address, you can have it added to your father's insurance policy as primary driver cheaper than what your own policy would cost.
- I work for a car dealership. You have to put the policy holders name on the title or the lean of the car/truck. If you dont and you get into an accident, the insurace company doesnt have to cover you.
- .i have insured all of my sons cars. yes you can been under your parents insurance and pay a lower premium in some cases because of your age , you are considered high driving risk and may have to pay a higher premium.
