  1. Yes and yes.
  2. i would say yes you can as i have a car thats not registered to me, but i am insured in it. So when searching for a quote on confused.com some insurers said no , yet i found my insurance that im with now, so as long as you tell them the right info, im sure you'll find insurance correct for you.
  3. Yes. Insurance rates are based on where the vehicle is principally garaged, not the mailing address of the registration or even the policy. Military personnel run in to this quite frequently where the registration is at their home of record (legal domicile) but they are stationed in another state.
  4. These answers are CRAP! As long as you are the registered owner of the vehicle you CAN insure a car at an address other than the registered one. I am a student and had to do just that. Not a problem at all and in some instances it can actually pay if it is registered to an address in a dodgy area to insure it at an address in a nicer area but ONLY IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE PREMISES! If you don't then all documents will be sent to an address you can't get in to! Hope this helps!
  5. The answer is yes.
