  1. A minivan, not kidding.
  2. 79 chevy nova 4 cylinder. my insurance was $60 at 16!
  3. Try the chevrolet Matiz. I think they are quite cheap or a small Fiat
  4. Anything that has a 4 cylider in it that is 1988-1996. some V6 models are ok. the more saftey options it has the better. Options like ABS, Airbag, crumple zones, stuff like that. you can also ask your agent to print up a list of cars that will give you the cheapest rate. they are really good at that. Also keeping your grades up above a 3.0 will help reduce your insurance. They for some reason think a 3.0 means your more responcable. that was never the case for me. Also if you install a throttle stop in the car this will help your insurance as well. If you don't know what a throttle stop is I'll explain. It's basicly a bolt that keeps the gas pedal from going all the way to the floor. most often they are set for about 1/4 throttle this should get you a speed of around 55 to 65 MPH. so you can't speed on the freeway. You just have to worry about the other areas in the city. However with the pedal not going down all the way you accellerate slower so you can watch your speed more. this helped reduce my daughters insurance almost 15%. He has a lead foot. thats what she gets when she owns a 1964 Buick Skylark convertable. Anyway hope this helps. Happy Revving.
  5. believe it or not buy like a 3000 dollar motorcycle outright, and use basic liability and personl injury, dont do any collision compensation (its a motorcycle, it gets trashed, get a new one) Im 20 and i pay 389 dollars...a YEAR through Geico
  6. Any small Italian or European car, I think
  7. male or female? males have higher insurance rates than females, because they are considered a menace to society...(finally someone got it right....lol!!!) till they are age 23. So in general, males will have higher rates just because they are male sorry guys...
  8. Small cars with small engines are the best. Take a look at the article below. Aparently the top 3 are: Toyota Aygo Citroen C1 Peugeot 107
  9. any group 1 car such as a ford ka or something with a small engine
  10. http://www.parkers.co.uk/insurance Go for cars in groups 1, 2 or 3. Also before buying the car do quotes online.
  11. I8 years old, un-married, no driving history, no driving record yet and no nothing, I would suggest a "Skateboard". But in reality a very ugly and old mini van.
