Best Cars to Insure

Any good first car suggestions?

I'm about to turn 16 and I need to buy something cheeeaaapp (first priority). I know japanese cars are reliable, but they are expensive to buy used. I live in Colorado, where AWD/4WD is pretty important, but I guess I could get by with FWD. So basically I need a cheap (like less than $4000ish), reliable car, thats half-fun to drive, safe, cheap to insure, and ideally with AWD. Any suggestions? I know Subarus fit the bill there well but it seems they hold their value too well and in Colo. they're reallly popular and its a supply/demand type thing so the prices are even more jacked up here.

  1. Well, it depends on what company you want to purchase from. A ford Bronco can help you out for $2000 or less. Also, JEEP can help out as well. And so can the Geo Tracker. You will have to check out www.kbb.com to see what you would really like. They can do you better service than anyone here on Yahoo! Answers can.
  2. come down to arizona you can get a good toyota 4runner w/great mileage and all yer bells n whistles fer under $2000
