Best car to drive in hilly area?

What are the best kinds of cars to drive in hilly country areas. Need to have great gas mileage. Not too expensive.

1. Something light and rear wheel drive. BMW :-)
2. mazda miata or a good used toyota mrs, reasonable price and good gas mileage

4. A front wheel drive or all wheel drive. Subaru's seem to be an all around car for that type of driving, very economical and rated the safest car on the road.
5. try a honda accord or civic (standard transmission). The standard tranny will be easier on your engine with all the climbing hills and save on your brakes with the downward slopes. And honda's have always been economical.
6. I'm pretty sure that any All-Wheel-Drive cars are a good choice to go off-road, that includes hills and slopes. theres a lot of car choices for that. I would suggest getting a Subaru. Their cars are very reliable.
