What kind of automobile is best if you are forced to drive on ice? A long big car or a smaller one?
Dumb question, I know, but I have to travel through Okla. and Lousiana in 2 days this weekend and I have to be driven. So take the long big car or the compact car? (No snow tires)

- I would go with the long/big car. The weight and distribution will help in those situations. I hope this helps-Matt
- The big one, the wider and heavier the better.
- all wheel drive or four wheel drive is best.front wheel drive would be second choice.rear wheel drive is third choice. traction control is good also for either fwd or rwd.
- Doesn't really make a difference on ice. Take whichever one is safe depending on size vs number of air bags.
- a long big one is always better than a short one
