- Did ya ever here of a matchbox? YOKE im drivin aint too far off from it!
- perudua Kelisa, £4,499. Jeremy Clarkson rated it the worst car ever, whoever he is!! see the Timesonline article.
- If you buy an automatic with an engine smaller than 1.8 your asking for trouble. Take a look at Chevrolet, Kia, Hyundai or Fiat if you really have to have a brand new car. But if you got half a brain cell you'll realise that Brand new is pointless with the money your talking. Look for 3-5 years old and get a half decent car instead. For £3000 you could have a 5 year old Mondeo Auto which will be far superior to any tiny brand new car you can buy. And that will leave you at least £2,500 to spend on Beer or a Holiday, or maybe a second car too.
- Smart ForTwo Cheap, tiny, 3 cylinder 800cc turbo engine, air con as standard Really though you should have taken your driving test in a manual car. Least then you have the choice of whether to buy auto or manual ;-)
- Bear in mind, cheap does not just mean it's cheap to *buy*. You need to consider running costs - such as fuel, insurance, maintenance - and the biggest cost of all (normally) is the dreaded depreciation.
- Kia Picanto LX 1.1litre automatic probaly the smallest automatic car on the road today
- Nissan Micra Auto Infinite Variable Ratio Belt Drive. Goes like the clappers. Had great fun in one. Must be a good system as they fitted it to the Primera.
- ask NODDY never seen him change gear and he aint got a lot of money hope you like red and yellow cars though
