Best Cars to Insure

What kind of car is 4 door, cheap and easy to drive?

I need a small car to get to work in thats under $2,000 but is a 4 door, reliable easy car to drive. I really liked the dodge neon I used to have but im looking for anything right now thats in the $1,000-$2,000 dollar range. Can anyone think of something like this?

4. Toyota Corolla or Geo/Chevy Prizm---same car and very good mileage/reliability. Check Consumer Reports annual buying guide at a library or bookstore/magazine rack.
5. A Ford Escort would be perfect. They are very reliable and drive nice.
