Best Cars to Insure

What are some cheap rear wheel drive cars?

I want to buy a cheap junky car, but I want it to be rear-wheel drive. Any ideas about a car I could buy cheap that is RWD? Best answer goes to the person with the longest list of cars. I'd kinda like a honda or some other japanese make. But its not important.

  1. VW Beetle. VW Bus.
  2. mustang mustang mustang mustang mustang mustang mustang mustang mustang mustang mustang mustang mustang i can make the list longer if you want
  3. All Mustangs are RWD, older ones should be cheap enuf!
  4. Almost any American luxury car made before 2000 qualifies.
  5. Sure wish I knew what cheap meant? Most cars in the 70' and 80's were RWD. Most sports cars are RWD and most trucks are RWD. Other than those - only a few other domestics or imports are RWD. Good Luck.
  6. Any 80s Camaro or Mustang, older Nissan Z series or Mazda RX7, any Chevette, old Bugs, Pintos, Bobcats, older Cougars and T-birds, basically any big American car built before 1990.
  7. As another answerer said, "Mustang". There are also various Chevy's (notably Novas, Camaros, and Chevelles from the 1960's through the 2000's), Lincolns, Cadillacs ( both pre-90's), Checker (if you can find one), most pickups, and early Buicks, Olds, Pontiacs (including Firebirds - they're usually "junky, cheap cars"), some 1960 - 1990 Fords, Early (60 - 80's) Chryslers, Plymouth, Dodge, and a whole laundry list of other Marques and brands. If you really want to get something "junky and cheap", check the local newspaper for auctioned vehicles; they're usually the cheapest cars available. Good luck!

  9. Not all mustangs are rear wheel drive and mustang is one car that did not go down in value like most of the other ones. If you really want an inexpensive rear wheel drive vehicle, keep you eye out for a 1960's or 1970's Ford, Chevrolet, or almost any American made car. Even a lot of the 1980's cars were rear wheel drive although front wheel drive was starting to make its appearance. Dave Ramsey calls them "garage sale cars". Good Luck.
  10. Bug Grimalin Camaro Trans Am GTO Dart Chevelle Vega Pinto Lemans Cutlass Impala Nova El Camino Ranchero Monte Carlo Corvette Mustang Firebird Formula or you could get a good old truck(recomendations) 1972 Chevy or 1979 Dodge (no car is cheap trust me i know i've done had 2)

  12. Well it depends on were you live. Well put it this way if you live in the USA any old American muscle will do, but if you live anywhere else in the world a import will be cheaper. To import cars are really expensive due to the shit load of tax. Stick to any local cars that you can buy in the area. Europe - BMW / MERC ASIA - Nissan 200/240 - sx or 300 zx / Toyota supra/ Toyota ceilica/ Nissan Skyline. UK - Ford Escort RS2000/RS1800 USA - Most of the early muscle cars are really heavy and if you want to drift it is better to have a import. Sure the most mucle cars have V8 power but the early cars have a shit load of torque but their engines max rpm is really low - then again not good for drifting because all the power is at an average of about 3000 rpm.
