- u haul.
- it depends on the company most will allow you to do that
- Most of the large car rental agencies in Canada allow that as long as you tell them when you rent it. But if that is what you are intending, here is a better idea, look in the local paper of which ever city your in for people that need their cars driven across the country. They will pay you to do that for them so they don't have to have it shipped. It costs a lot of money to have a car shipped and they may want it in their new residence and were unable to drive it themselves so they advertise for people to do that for them and pay a reasonable fee for your service. But if your determined to rent a car try Hertz, Budget, Thrifty, Avis to start with, they are among the larger companies.
- all major chains do it for a fee
- that is easy to do, you can contact hertz, avis, thrifty etc. they all do it but often charge a drop fee if the city you are dropping it in is not a major drop point. They will advise you of this at time of booking, be sure to ask for a price breakdown when getting a quote.
- I rented a car last year at Toronto's Pearson Airport. I wanted to drive to Halifax & drop it off. No problem for $ 800.00 - $ 1000.00. I opted to drive back to Toronto. P.S. That was thru Thrifty.
