I am 17 and from the UK, can i drive MY car through France, Belgium and Germany?
I am planning going to the Rock AM Ring Festival in Germany and found out its cheaper to drive there, not only that it will be good fun with the lads. But i need to know if i have to be 18 to drive in France, Belgium and Germany with a UK license... Yes i know you have to be 21 to rent a car, i am not renting a car i am driving MY own car Cheers

- The last time I was over there (71-77), they had a thing called an international driver's license. If you got the license in Germany, for example, you could drive anywhere in Europe. In fact, the only place I knew of back then that you could not use an international driver's license was in the US. Go figure. Check it out. It may still exist.
- no You have to be 18 and have the proper driving license
