Best Cars to Insure

I am 17 and from the UK, can i drive MY car through France, Belgium and Germany?

I am planning going to the Rock AM Ring Festival in Germany and found out its cheaper to drive there, not only that it will be good fun with the lads. But i need to know if i have to be 18 to drive in France, Belgium and Germany with a UK license... Yes i know you have to be 21 to rent a car, i am not renting a car i am driving MY own car Cheers

  1. The last time I was over there (71-77), they had a thing called an international driver's license. If you got the license in Germany, for example, you could drive anywhere in Europe. In fact, the only place I knew of back then that you could not use an international driver's license was in the US. Go figure. Check it out. It may still exist.
  2. no You have to be 18 and have the proper driving license
