- put the insurance under ur name, and choose to cover uninsured motorist with it.. cheap
- You could put him on your car insurance policy. Phone the company you are insured with and find out how much it will costs and what the implications are.
- Have him as named driver on your policy. It will still cost but not as much as him having his own policy. Also decide on whether fully comp. or third party. Depends on the value of the car.
- The insurance will be expenmsive no matter where you go. Mine was over £1000 in my first year for 3rd party on a 15 year old Polo which was worthless even as scrap. Get him to have a sex change. Insurance companies are free to discriminate on the grounds of gender and give females much cheaper prices, regardless of whether they can drive or not. Shiela's wheels was founded by Hitler.
- Wow. If the UK is anything like the States, I don't think there is any cheapest way. I went through that with my two Kids and it hurt my bank account. To make it worse, my two had a wreck of the week.
- if you insure the car and put your son as a named driver it will get you the best price but also take into consideration the likes of direct line that give named drivers no claims bonus aswell so when he does insure a car on his own he will have a few years discount
- put as a secondary driver. it would be the cheapest way to do it.
