Best Cars to Insure

I need a cheap reliable car to drive to Africa?

It must be left hand drive, prefer diesel, 4x4 would be good though anything would be considered. I am asking because I have entered the Plymouth- Banjul challenge and am struggling to find a suitable car. http://www.plymouth-banjul.co.uk/ PLEASE DON'T SUGGEST EBAY, I have looked already! More creative ideas would be appreciated. Oh yeah, did I mention it must cost less than £100? Chuckle chuckle ahhh oh dear, I wish I had thought of taking a ferry. Guess I shall have to cancel the whole trip now. Really, you get to be a top contributor by posting inane comments like that? You must be very proud of your badge. This question is still open to anyone with any sensible suggestions. I know there is a fiat 4x4 on ebay but it is up to £550 with 4 days still to go. I am told left hand drive car prices are very high in the UK at the moment due to the number of people with second homes buying them up. I am sure they will be cheaper on the continent but getting them insured to drive back can be a problem. I am obviously prepared to spent more than £100 but want to try stay within the spirit of the event. ie: no money. . .no worries. . .no sense. . . Looks like nobody knows how to click on the plymouth-banjul link then. . .

  3. 4x4 and diesel? so i guess you don't want a car i know landrovers are reliable and are meant to handle that terrain better than any other vehicle in its class like a hummer ..........however i don't know jack about the plymouth-banjul challenge so i can't reccomend anything.. sorry
  4. Less than £100? The only thing you'll get for that is a Fiat Panda 4x4 (original '80s version). That's if you can find one that hasn't rusted away.
