Accord Code P0507: How much can I expect to pay and is my car safe to drive?
2003 Honda Accord P0507 Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected - vacuum leak, faulty IAC valve or something with throttle body. Should I be driving on this? aNyone have a best to worst estimate for this? Thanks!

- It is not expensive to change an IAC in you honda. The part is about $140 at your local parts store. (Autozone) IT might not have to be replaced at all. I found an article that explains how you can adjust it and fix it. Here is that link http://www.automedia.com/Sensor_Troubleshooting:_Idle_Air_Control_Valve/ccr20010901ic/1 If that does not fix the problem it should take a mechanic about 2 hours to fix.. So 140 for the part and 120 for labor. So say $250-$260. And if your car is driving ok now it is safe to drive it for a short period of time. I would say that you do need to have it looked at as soon as you can
