Best Cars to Insure

What is the safest color car to drive? How about the least safe?

  1. Yellow, it's the color that you can see from far far away. The least safe colour is black, you're unable to see cars with black in colour at night.
  2. i would say black
  3. Red is a color to avoid because they are involved in the most accidents... incredible as it sounds. White is a good color because it is easier to distinguish in day or night.
  4. hmm. I've never heard of any color being safe or unsafe. I did hear a statistic a few months ago that insurance was higher on red vehicles, though. Valid? I don't know.
  5. I would say Red is safest because most people will see it. Silver is definately the least safe because of issues like reflection, rain, snow, sleet and other things that blend in. It's the hardest car to see on the road.
  6. I have heard, green is the unsafest car. Because green cars are ones that are either getting hit or end up htting another car.
  7. Red tends to get into more accidents and pulled over by the cops more. Safe color is a neutral.
  8. it doesn't really matter whta you should look at is what saftey feturees it has and it will be a better chance of gettin a safe car by the way the myth about red cars is so not true
  9. Red is always a good color. The police tend to pull over more red cars because they're so visible. Worst color? The color of my old car - pearlescent sky blue. It blends in with the sky and you're almost invisible. Anything that is light and close to hues on the road (light sand, sky blue) is going to make an accident more likely.
  10. Safe: Yellow Accident prone: Red Stay safe and good luck.
  11. Yellow is the safest because it seems to be the most visible. Red seems to get the most speeding tickets, and I think black would be the most dangerous color to drive.
  12. Rainbow or Mosaic!!!
  13. safe? from cops? well red is the most unsafe becasue they r the ones cops see first.
  14. i would say white because when it's hot the inside of your car will not be that hot because it is a light color and in summer time you should drive light colored cars.
  15. yellow, i think, i remember i saw a list once/i know without a doubt the insurance companies luv it when you drive a red car
  16. Brighter colors are easier to see, so if any color is safer than another, go with brighter. Unsafe? I would say black cars at night, white cars in the snow, green cars in state parks, etc. Common sense.
  17. Grey and silver are the hardest to see. Chartreuse would be the easiest to see.
  18. I don't really think color matters. Either you need to depend on the car to be safe or you need to ask yourself if you really know how to drive.
  19. Volvo prides itself for the safest car makers in the world. They had carried out a study long back which highlighted the followings: Safest Color: Orange Least Safest Color: Dark/Navy Blue and Black (following Navy Blue!) It was found that Orange was identifiable from one & half miles under some test conditions (I don't remember exactly) than Dark Blue. Further, the eye pupils reacted more faster in case of an orange color vehicle when seen by the driver from the opposite.
