  1. When a sub frame is damage and needs replacement , Its not good to drive it, there are several reason why, 1) It will effect the steering (possibly be unsafe) 2) It will cause the front tires to ware excessive 3) The loss of control is also possible, Its recommended don't drive If you purchased the car with a bent frame you may have some legal rights and should contact an attorney, Good luck and GOD Bless, Jackie
  2. THIS IS CALLED DRIVING AT YOUR OQN RISK AND IF YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT AND THEY CAN PROVE YOU DROVE THIS KNOWINGLY AND WILLINGLY YOU COULD BE PROSECUTED ESPECIALLY IF SOMEONE IS INJURED OR KILLED PLAY SAFE AND BE SAFE AND LIVE A LONG LIFE.
  3. I would say no, it is not. The subframe is what holds your engine, transmission, steering assembly, and front suspension in place. Any damage to the subframe, depending on how severe, could be very dangerous. If the damage is severe, it could be life threatening. You did not specify what exactly is wrong.
  4. yes... buy a new car..
  5. NO it is NOT safe. Your subframe could fail and you could have and accident and be killed or worse kill someone else. Drive responsibly and don't take chances with your life. H
  6. probably not, im no mechanic, but that sounds like a problem that could kill everyone in the vehicle and possibly others out side of it.
  7. Just exactly how is it that you think you need your subframe replaced? It's not something that you replace. It's a massive part of the car. It's not like a dead battery or a flat tire. I am officially questioning the validity of your question until you provide some concrete information.
  8. i own a repair shop,,and no it isn't really safe to drive one with a bad sub frame in it,its dangerous to drive like that, and if it gets worse it may cause you to have a bad accident,,i have seen them break in to before,,id be care full and not drive it no more than i had too, good luck i hope this help,s.

  10. No... But if you have your talking about a Chevy Impalla,You may just need control arm bushings. These are going bad alot on these vehicles and shops are trying to sell customers whole sub frames to fix the problem. Am I right? Are you talking about a Chevy Impala?
